Session Description
Alberta will become the first province in Canada to implement My Recovery Plan in all publicly funded addiction treatment facilities. My Recovery Plan is a key component of Alberta’s shift toward a recovery oriented system of addiction and mental health care including a shift in focus from reporting on outputs to client outcomes. The web based platform helps providers to assess a client’s recovery capital, identify recovery goals, monitor progress toward these goals, and identify challenges while enabling clients to take an active role in their recovery. This data will enable the government to identify systemic gaps and understand system demand to support planning and inform future investment decisions.
